In order to celebrate Friday the 13th, we had a dessert pot luck at work today. I found this yummy chocolate, caramel and oatmeal cookie dessert. We called it the chocolate caramel casserole. It was a huge hit. Everyone loved it and it was so popular, that people were scraping the sides to get every last bit. Jan, my supervisor, told me that it won the prize for the best dessert. That made me feel pretty good.
Today was pretty low key at work and I am glad. I am off all weekend. I was on call last night and on Sunday. Next week I don't work a lot of hours and I am glad for that. I need a break. Plus, Robby misses me when I work a lot.
